Buying your first home presents three basic challenges to you as a prospective homeowner.
The first is education. From the very beginning of your search, you'll be confronted with new processes, new terminology and a lot of new documentation. All of which can be confusing and frustrating.
Your second challenge will be to find the right home that fits your lifestyle, meets your future needs and is affordable.
The third challenge is finding the money to pay for it.
My job is to guide you through these challenges, eliminate your frustration and make the purchase of your first home a stress free, enjoyable experience.
Everyone starts with the internet. It’s undoubtedly a great resource for learning about how the real estate process works. But like everything else on the net, there’s some really good stuff, some “OK” stuff and some really bad stuff. Keep in mind that in Pennsylvania, our real estate process is different than many states including New Jersey, Delaware and New York. Some of the “stuff” just doesn’t apply to us.
Since you’re going to spend a lot of time on the net, I’ve put together some basic links in the “Info You Need” and “Cool Tools” sections of my site that I know will work for you. Most of these are proprietary, and not available to the general public. I also have a Pinterest page dedicated to the First Time Buyer with a lot of useful information.
But the net will only take you so far. You can watch as many YouTube videos as you like to learn how to golf, but you can only learn by doing it yourself. A coach will help you avoid mistakes and get you to where you need to be faster with less anguish. I’ll be your coach. I’ll listen to you, develop a strategy for you and walk you through every step of the home Purchase process.
Speaking of YouTube, This Will Give You A Great Intro To The Real Estate Process
